Annual Report for the year 2021 - 22.

Managing Committee of MLDC Alumni Association is pleased to present Annual Report for the year 2021 – 2022.

The situation of February 2020 not only continued but worsened. Number corona victims was increasing day by day. It became difficult for us also to meet, discuss & go ahead with not only programs but scheduled meetings also. This affected the normal life of common man resulting in to closure of all activities and we also did the same thing.

Even in this situation, we planned of organizing Annual Get Together of Alumni members. So we started our activities in that direction.

As in the past, we have selected following eight students of the College to be elicitated for their performance in Academic as well as extracurricular activities.

-

During the year under report, we added 5 life members. We hereby appeal all the members to come forward and help in increasing number of members. From the Audited Annual Accounts, the members will have observed that there is surplus of Rs. 42,693/- surplus which is mainly due to not conducting major activities, that normally we hold every year and which are making our Association a well-known entity in the academic world.

-     We need more funds for conducting the activities of the Alumni Association in a better manner. The funds get generated by increasing number of members across all categories of our Association’s membership, viz. Life Members, Fellow Members and Patron Members. The Committee therefore once again makes an appeal to all members to reach out in their individual groups of friends and encourage their friends to take membership of the Alumni Association. The Committee also appeals all life-members to take Fellow-membership or still better, Patron membership of the Association.

-    Due to some miscommunication our Registration was cancelled. But the moment treasurer got the information about deregistration, the Manging Committee decided to challenge order & accordingly we appointed Adv Rajesh Dumbre to represent our Association in the court of Charity Commissioner. We are glad to inform that, the deregistration set aside order was issued on 25th March 2022.

-     In spite of busy and hectic schedule of all, the hard work and enthusiasm of all the members of the Managing Committee helped us in organizing all these on line activities successfully. During the year under report, total 10 meetings of the Managing Committee were held which were attended well by the Managing Committee Members.

-     During the A. G. M. held on 16th October, 2021, the Alumni Association had appointed M/s. Ranade &Associates as the Statutory Auditors of the Association for the financial year 2021 - 2022.

We thank our Auditors M/s Ranade & Associates as also our all Bankers, Sponsors, Well-wishers as well as College staff members, students of our college and also the Management of M. L. Dahanukar College and of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association for their continued support to the activities of the Association. We also thank the staff members of M/s. V. S.
