Press Note English 2014

Dahanukar College, popularly known as MLDC, has been a great force in moulding our lives. College has contributed greatly to our success as professionals and good human beings that we are today. All ex-students love to be in touch with their old mates and also with the College itself. But thanks to our hectic life, we seldom are able to do so.
MLDC Alumni Association has completed  ten years in 2013.

Objectives:-

The principal object of the Association is to promote fraternity not only among the ex-students of the College inter se but also among the present students of the College on one hand and the Alumni of the college on the other hand.

The Association also facilitates the Alumni of the College to actively participate in various programs designed and or intended to assist the present students of the College to help them achieve excellence in diverse fields including academics, sports, cultural activities etc.

Activities the Association undertaken in 2013/14:-

  • Recently organized seminar on Guidance to the Students Studying Abroad – for s of our college as well as from Other Colleges in Western Suburbs
  • Alumni sponsored College events like ‘Zunj’ ‘Kurukshetra ‘,
  • Essay writing competition in fond memory of Late Prof. Mrs Mrunalini Joglekar.
  • Donated AC system for mini auditorium on first floor of College is sponsored by Alumni association.
  • Also provided Members' directory on CD-Rom format.

Alumni’s Get-together Program will be held on Saturday March 8’ 2014 from 6.00 pm onwards at the precious terrace of College.

With pride the Alumni announces that Shri Deepak Ghaisas, IT tycoon will launch the WEBSITE of M L DC Alumni Association. Apart from shri Ghaisas many other dignitaries will be there to attend the function and grace the occasion.

Program:-

A] we are proud of Mumbai University Topper of 2013 B Com -Mayuresh Dharap who will be felicitated along with Mrs. Mruga Ghanwatkar – Paranjpe- -B.Com.- Topper. and M Com Topper -Rabab Maniyar.

B]  The Alumni will also be felicitating a few ex students of the College who have achieved pinnacle of success in their respective fields. Current years’ stalwarts for felicitation are-

There will be entertainment program by professional ex students of college followed by dinner at all.
