एम एल डी सी अलुम्नी असोसिएशन तर्फे सुप्रसिद्ध लेखिका कै. मृणालिनी जोगळेकर ह्यांच्या स्मृत्यर्थ महाविद्यालयीन विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी " निबंध लेखन" स्पर्धेचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते.
LCD & Computers
With an object of knowledge sharing, Alumni Association has provided LCD TV on the ground floor entrance lobby and computers at all floors of the college building for students

'अभिनय करू इच्छिणाऱ्या सर्वांसाठी अभिवाचन गरजेचे आहे. कारण वाचिक अभिनय, शब्दोच्चार यांचे मुलभूत शिक्षण त्यातून मिळते. पुढील वर्षी ही स्पर्धा अधिक मोठ्या प्रमाणावर घेण्यासाठी रंगकर्मी आणि परिषदेचा पदाधिकारी म्हणून नाट्यपरिषदेतर्फे कार्यशाळा आयोजित करू आणि हा अनोखा उपक्रम अधिकाधिक विद्यार्थ्यांपर्यंत पोहोचवू.' अशा शब्दात अभिनेते व अ. भा. मराठी नाट्य परिषदेचे कार्यवाह दीपक करंजीकर यांनी 'एम.एल.डी.सी. अल्युम्नी' आयोजीत 'आंतर-महाविद्यालयीन नाट्य-अभिवाचन स्पर्धे'चे कौतुक केले. या स्पर्धेस 'महाराष्ट्र टाईम्स' मिडिया पार्टनर होता.
